Funds raised at GRG events, enable us to continue to run local events and workhops.

Outside of covering our basic and minimal operating costs, all additional funds raised by the GRG are donated to supporting local like-minded initiatives and organizations.

In past years, the GrassRoots Growers offered two annual bursaries for full-time students in the Sustainable Agriculture Co-op Program at Fleming College, Lindsay campus, and the University of Guelph.

More recently however, we have decided to channel these funds into more local initiatives.

All members of the GRG are volunteers, and are not compensated for their time and efforts.

The donations are made possible by the generousity of the Stone Mills community and surrounding areas.

In past years, the donations are raised at our annual May plant sale and during other local events hosted by the GRG.

With the exception of certain workshops, all GRG events are open to all, and by voluntary PWYC donation only, or otherwise free.

Contributions to the Tamworth Erinsville GrassRoots Growers, help us to fulfill our mission statement, support our community events and give back to local initiatives as shown here below. Your support is greatly appreciated.
